Artifacts and projects
Reusable visual components, scoped chats, and long-form documents.
Artifacts
An artifact is a reusable visual component the agent renders with live data: a carousel, a report, a card, a dashboard. Once an artifact exists, the agent can fill it with new data in any chat instead of drawing from scratch.
- The Artifacts page lists published artifacts and drafts, with filter tabs and a New artifact button.
- In a chat, ask for one ("make a weekly report card for these numbers") and it opens in the side panel. Edit it there or ask for changes.
- Open an artifact from the Artifacts page to edit it directly, or ask for changes in any chat: the agent can edit every artifact in the workspace.
Projects
A project groups related chats with their own context. It has a Name, a Description and Instructions in markdown: tone of voice, audience, rules, examples. A project can also add skills, connections and knowledge that apply on top of the workspace-wide set.
- Create one on the Projects page.
- Start a chat inside it from its page, or choose Add to project above the composer of a new chat.
- The project's chats are listed on its page. Open Project context in a chat's side panel to see and edit what the project adds.
Use a project when a stream of work needs its own rules, for example a client account, a product launch, or a content series.
Documents
The document builder writes long-form text section by section. It lives at /documents (it has no sidebar entry). Give the document a title and a brief that describes the audience and the outline you want. The builder proposes an outline and writes every section; each section has a prompt field, "What should the AI do with this section?", and Apply. Export produces Markdown, PDF or Word.
Documents are gated by the Docs permission area. Someone with view can read; manage can create and edit.
