Workspace

Members and roles

Invite people, give them a role, and decide which areas they can see and manage.

Inviting members

On Workspace settings → Members, press Invite member and enter an email address. The person receives a link, sets a password and lands in the workspace. Pending invitations and Access requests are listed on the same tab. Organisation members are invited from Organisation → Members in the same way.

Roles

A role is a name plus two switches per area. Names use lowercase letters, digits, dashes and underscores.

SwitchMeaning
ViewRead and use.
ManageCreate, edit and delete.

With both switches off, the area's pages are hidden from the sidebar and the palette.

The areas are Knowledge (knowledge, meetings), Skills (skills and tools), Artifacts, Workflows (channels, agents, automations, activity), Creator Studio, Docs (documents), Voice Studio and Workspace (settings).

A member with Workflows: View can post in channels and watch tasks but cannot change playbooks or create automations. Workspace: Manage is needed for settings and members; the Roles and Secrets tabs are for the workspace owner.

Your account

Account in the user menu holds your profile (name, email, password), Usage this month with the credits meter, and Notifications. Push alerts cover paused runs waiting for your approval and other agent updates when you are not looking at the app.

Users

A cmdk installation also has a Users page, at /users, for accounts across the whole installation: name, email, role and password. It is separate from workspace membership and has no link in the sidebar.
