What is cmdk
One shared workspace where your team chats with any model, hands work to agents, and runs automations across the apps you already use.
cmdk is the command bar for your company's AI. Instead of a chat window per tool and a login per model, your whole team works in one workspace where the AI knows your context, can act in your apps, and keeps what it learns.
What you can do with it
- Chat with any model. Ask a question, drop in a file, mention a meeting or a colleague agent. cmdk routes each message to the right model, or you pick one yourself. See Working in chat.
- Hand work to agents. An agent is a colleague with a role, instructions, tools and files. Put several in a channel with a playbook and post a request; the lead hands out the work and reports back. See Agents and Channels.
- Automate repeatable work. Describe a job in your words. cmdk compiles it into numbered steps that run on a trigger, a schedule, or on demand, and shows every run as an item you can review. See How automations work.
- Teach it once. Skills hold the knowledge your team repeats: pricing rules, brand voice, account context. Tools give the AI code and data to act with. Connected apps let it work inside Gmail, Slack, HubSpot and hundreds of others. See Skills and tools.
- Reach it from anywhere. Message the workspace from WhatsApp, Slack or Telegram, or call any automation from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or a script over the MCP server and API. See Connect.
- Turn meetings into action. Record on your device or send the notetaker into a Zoom, Meet or Teams call, and get the transcript, summary and action items. See Meetings.
How the pieces fit
A workspace is where a team works: its chats, agents, channels, automations, skills, tools, knowledge and credits. An organisation groups workspaces and their members. Inside a workspace, everything the AI learns from files, pages, meetings and its own runs lands in knowledge and stays searchable.
Most work starts in one of three places:
